Self-Portrait Project
Self-Portrait Project.
This is my self-portrait project.
The 1st picture in this project is is of me. But since I
don’t like my picture being taken, I didn’t want to include my face in it.
However I didn’t want the picture to be boring. I love boots so thats what i thought i would take the picture of. To edit this photo I simply
raised the brightness and contrast a little. I then edited the shadows and highlights.
The 2nd picture in my project is another picture of me. This
wasn’t one I intended on using. It was simple taken for fun. But then I
realized I really liked the picture and that it actually did represent me. I
LOVE Barbour Jackets, and if you know me, then you know that I love them. So
tis picture fitted in well with my project.
I edited this photo by increasing the brightness and contrast. I then
edited the hue and saturation. I then used the Gradient Tool again to select
what I wanted in focus. Then blurred out the rest.
The 3rd picture in my project is also me. This one was for
fun too, but also represented that I don’t really like having my picture taken.
I didn’t do much to edit this picture. I just raised the brightness and
contrast. I then raised the saturation and lowered the darkness a tiny bit.
The 4th picture in my project is a picture of my shoes and
cheetah print leggings. This represents me because I am obsessed with cheetah
print. I some how made this picture look like a drawing. Firstly I clicked on desaturation, and then I went
into shadows and highlights, in there I raised the amount of shadow right up as
well as the tonal width. I then changed the amount of highlights to 21%a and
tonal width to 100%. Then I went to the adjustments and changed the colour correction
to +52 and the midtone contrast to +62.
The 5th picture in this project is a picture of my watch. I
never go anywhere without this watch so that’s why it represents me. It was
also the last thing I brought at home in England before I left, so it’s special
to me. Firstly to edit this picture I raised the brightness and contrast. I then
used the Brush Tool to change the colour of my hand to make it not so pale.
